You are entering a momentous month where many things are about to change for the better. The eclipses are back. You haven’t seen any since February, but this month is different. The eclipses have set up camp in new signs, Aquarius and Leo, and they are more powerful and important than the eclipse on February 10th. Think back to what you were doing at that time. Is there anything that reminds you of something? Themes that emerged then may be repeated and expanded upon now. If you can't think of anything in particular, it's because that eclipse was mild and didn't bring the same promising new opportunities that this month's eclipse will.

Eclipses will continue to make their home in a pair of signs, but they will reach different degrees. If your Sun, Moon, or other planets are far away from the eclipse, you won't feel the impact directly, but you will still notice certain topics coming up. I want you to always look back and see what was happening, because if they all fall in the same pair of signs, each eclipse in the same series is cumulative of the previous one. This constellation series will continue to repeat itself until it ends, and the eclipses on the Leo-Aquarius axis are happening now, and will end with the eclipse in January 2019, which is still a year and a half from now.

All of these eclipses focus your ninth house of intellectual activity, which I will discuss in more detail shortly. This means that the themes that August brings to you will dominate your life for at least 18 months, if not longer. What makes this month particularly extraordinary is the double eclipse, including a lunar eclipse on August 7 and a solar eclipse on August 21, both of which are extremely friendly to Sagittarius Suns.

Eclipses can bring about life events that we remember forever. They will often require you to adjust to sudden news, but because you are a mutable sign, you are flexible. One of the most endearing things about you is that you enjoy new experiences and you adjust incredibly well with your ever-optimistic attitude.

Let’s look at the first eclipse, which will occur in Aquarius on August 7th. It will be a full moon eclipse at 15 degrees Aquarius. Mars will be in Leo, inspiring your desire to set new standards and break routines. You may take a quick trip to a nearby town, seemingly for fun and love rather than work. This could mark a wonderful short weekend trip with a loved one, or with a friend (or to visit a friend). Friends will come in droves during this eclipse, that’s for sure, as well as your brothers and sisters. Another possibility is that you will travel with a sibling, or visit a sibling. Alternatively, your sibling may share big news. Another possibility is that you are doing something with your siblings, such as buying a house or starting a business. What happens during an eclipse is serious, so pay close attention to what happens around the two eclipses, including the one on August 7, which will point to future developments, and positive ones.

Your ruling planet, Jupiter, is in Libra, in your friendship house (eleventh house). By some wonderful coincidence, Jupiter is in the right sign and at the right degree to give you wonderful assistance during the full moon solar eclipse on August 7. Jupiter is the planet of happiness and growth, so this is especially great news, and the fact that Jupiter is your ruling planet means this eclipse will be extra special and doubly beneficial to you. Jupiter's mission is to make you happy, and it doesn't ask for anything in return. A friend of yours may go out of his or her way to help you, or a friend may be crucial in hearing wonderful news.

Jupiter is in the eleventh house, which is also the house of hopes and visions, so it is possible that a wish you have always kept in your heart will now come true. If you're in doubt, remember that ancient astrologers believed that Jupiter not only brings happiness and luck, it also usually brings financial benefits, and Jupiter is also the planet of miracles.
