Get your suitcase out from under the bed, dear Taurus, for this month you will be travelling far and wide, and the result will be an open-mindedness that will lead to bold new ideas and acceptance of new people. You may think you haven't gotten going yet, but it looks like the universe has other plans for you. This month has been an extraordinary month on many levels. Let's start from the top and you'll see why.

January begins with a full moon on the 1st in Cancer, 12 degrees, lighting up your third house of short travel. You might visit family over the holidays and then go home. Mars will be in perfect angle to the full moon, so chances are, you'll enjoy what's happening. Notably, this Full Moon forms a most harmonious golden triangle, linking your house of marriage with your house of serious business commitments/partnerships, bringing Neptune (the planet of imagination and the arts) into the discussion at the other end of the triangle. Friends in a group, or membership in a group, may help with the luck you have at this time.

The same full moon may also bring some contracts to be signed, and if so, it looks like your lawyer has already double-checked the documents and approved them, so don't hesitate to sign them. Mercury is no longer retrograde, and you can move forward with confidence. The next retrograde is from March 22 to April 15, so do as much as you can. An extremely rare and beautiful day is January 6, when Mars and Jupiter will combine in Scorpio, in your house of true love. Another golden day to circle is January 8, when the Sun and Jupiter will be in a beautiful trine aspect, the word "trine" means "extreme harmony." Likewise, a partner brings you luck, and all the talk will be about what I am about to tell you about the new moon, January 16.

Indeed, the most exciting moment of the month will be when the new moon arrives in Capricorn, 27 degrees, on January 16. You will experience an extraordinary cosmic event, with no fewer than six celestial bodies, including the Sun, the new moon, Venus, Pluto, Mercury, and Saturn, gathering in your ninth house of expansion and adventure. Remember, Capricorn is an earth sign like Taurus, which means all of these planets will be working for your benefit, like a generous friend (in times of crisis), striving for your greatest wishes.
