When a client asked me to help him choose an auspicious day for moving, in order to do better, I searched everywhere for information on the subject. But in the end, I found that there was no decent article that discussed in detail the steps and methods of choosing an auspicious day for moving, and when it came to the operation, it was difficult to get the whole thing done. Helplessly, I can only summarize the relevant content I have collected and list the relevant steps and methods for reference, practice and supplement by my colleagues. This article is divided into seven parts:

1. Preparation for choosing a date

1. Ask and record the homeowner's year pillar and day pillar;

2. Ask and record the year pillar and day pillar of the homeowner’s family;

3. Ask and record the orientation of the house;

4. Ask and record the direction from your current residence to your new home.

2. Simple method of choosing a date

1. Eliminate conflicts and punishments:

The chosen day must not conflict with the zodiac signs and day pillars of all family members, especially the day that conflicts with the owner’s day pillar.

Conflicts: Zi-Wu, Chou-Wei, Yin-Shen, Mao-You, Chen-Xu, Si-Hai

Punishment: Yin, Si, Shen, Chou, Xu, Wei, Zi, Mao, Chen, Wu, You, Hai, Self-punishment

2. It is advisable to choose a water day and avoid fire:

It is better to choose "Water Day" as much as possible and use "Fire Day" less. The "water" and "fire" days here refer to the five elements of Na Yin.

The days when Na Yin is water: Bing Zi and Ding Chou are Jianxia water; Jia Shen and Yi You are Quanzhong water; Ren Chen and Gui Si are Changliu water; Bing Wu and Ding Wei are Tianhe water; Jia Yin and Yi Mao are Daxi water; Ren Xu and Gui Hai are Dahai water.

3. Choose the orientation of the new house:

Those who face the east should avoid moving on the days of Si, You and Chou (three elements of metal); those who face the west should avoid moving on the days of Hai, Mao and Wei (three elements of wood); those who face the south should avoid moving on the days of Shen, Zi and Chen (three elements of water); those who face the north should avoid moving on the days of Yin, Wu and Xu (three elements of fire).

3. How to choose a date

The following selection steps can be carried out based on the simple date selection method.

1. Unfavorable months for moving:

Don't go east in May and September, the north hall will be empty in the 20th, 60th and 80th months, you will die in the west in the 30th and 31st months, and it will be unlucky in the south in the 40th and 8th months.

2. Directions that are taboo for the day stem: Jia and Ji cannot face east, Yi and Geng face northeast which is an empty room, Bing and Xin cannot go directly north, Ding and Ren face northwest which is not appropriate, Wu and Gui face the Five Ghosts in the southwest. If you violate these directions, you will definitely get hurt.

3. Avoid the Five Ghost Days: You cannot move on the Five Ghost Days listed in the table below.

4. Avoid the nine ugly days: You cannot move house on the following nine ugly days.

You cannot move house on the following days: Wu Zi, Wu Wu, Ji You, Jimao, Yi You, Xin You, Xin Mao, Ren Zi and Ren Wu.

5. Taboo on the 25th: You cannot move house. The Red-billed Vermilion Bird sings the daily song: On the twenty-fifth, people will suffer financial losses when they move.

6. Days to remove evil stars: Do not move into new house on the days listed in the table below that contain evil stars.

4. Optimal date selection method

More optimized screening can be carried out based on the simple date selection method and the precise date selection method.

1. Choice of three lucky stars:

The best day is when the three stars of Sha Gong, Zhi Xing and Ren Zhuan appear. It will be more auspicious if you can choose a day within the three stars of Sha Gong, Zhi Xing and Ren Zhuan. The three auspicious stars can ward off evil stars, and everything will be auspicious.

Tribute to the Jade Emperor's carriage: When a star called Qinglong and Tiandefu enters the house, any construction, building, marriage, migration, taking office, building bridges, and burials will occur. Within three years, officials will be promoted to high positions, and those without official positions will gain more land and houses, and they will be rich and prosperous. They will have noble sons and make a lot of money. The father will be kind and the son will be filial, and servants will be numerous. Everything they do will be auspicious, and there will be no taboos, no matter how big or small the matter is.

People specialize in the Purple Star Royal Carriage: When this star, named Taiyin, enters the house, any construction, marriage, migration, taking office, moving into a new house, schooling, opening a shop, burial, if it encounters this star, within a year, the master will have a noble son. Within three years, those who are officials will be promoted, and those who are not officials will have good luck in everything, make a lot of money, have many happy events, get help from outside, and it will be auspicious for monks and Taoists to use it.

Direct Star: The Emperor's Carriage: Not as good as the two stars of Sha Gong and Ren Zhuan. This star is called: Jin Guide enters the house. When you are promoted to an official, get married, open a shop, build a house, or bury a person, within three years, there will be auspicious events. Officials will be promoted and the common people will be satisfied with everything. The cattle and horses will be prosperous. You will attract windfall and get rich that year. However, if the direct star meets the Golden God and the Seven Evils on duty, it is the most dangerous. Misfortunes will happen within half a year. The couple will suffer from official affairs within five months. Don't offend it. Those who use it should avoid it. Remember to avoid it.

How to check the three lucky stars:

⑴ The first, fourth, seventh and tenth months:

Sha Gong: Ding Mao, Bing Zi, Yi You, Jia Wu, Gui Mao, Ren Zi, Xin You.

People: Xinwei, Gengchen, Jichou, Wuxu, Dingwei, Bingchen.

2. Eliminate the Four Heavenly Gangs: The earthly branch of the house owner’s “day pillar” is——

Those born in the years of Shen, Zi and Chen should avoid using the Wei day and Wei hour.

People born in the years of Yin, Wu and Xu should avoid using the days and hours of the year of Chou.

People born in the years of Hai, Mao and Wei should avoid using the days and hours of Xu.
