In New York, where I live, July and August are our summer. Recently, when I was buying breakfast, I asked the young girl at the cashier how she felt about this summer. She didn't know me, but she said that thousands of words could be summed up in one word: nervous. That’s so true, especially for you, dear Virgo. This year can be divided into two halves. The first six months are quite efficient and happy, but things start to slow down a lot from the second half of the year.

It's obvious that you've been working really hard lately, perhaps harder than you can ever remember. Action Mars has been in Aquarius since mid-May, in your sixth house of daily work, and is still here. Normally, Mars only stays in a constellation for six to seven weeks, but this year is different. Mars entered Aquarius on May 15 and will stay here until November 15.

Mars will be retrograde from June 26 to August 27, so it will spend an unusually long time in the work and project sector of your chart this year. Mars is in a bad state when it is retrograde, which throws problems into everything you do and causes chaos in your daily work area.

The only exception is from August 12 to September 10, when Mars retreats into Capricorn, your fifth house of love. The rest of the time, Mars is in your work sector, encouraging you to do more, and it may be an honor to be needed.

After Mars goes direct on August 27, you may have to work even harder, because Mars in the sixth house of the horoscope will speed up the pace and turn up the volume. There are also three solar and lunar eclipses in July and August, on July 12, July 27, and August 11. If these two months are relatively smooth, it means that you have not felt the impact of these solar and lunar eclipses.

The next eclipses will be a solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 5, 2019, and a lunar eclipse in Leo on January 20, 2019, and there will be no other eclipses before then. Venus will be retrograde from October 5 to November 16, followed by Mercury from November 16 to December 6.
