You may have been thinking about personal matters for months, but you may have felt like you were treading water and, as others have said, making no progress. If you feel like you have nothing else to accomplish this year other than working hard and working smart, the problem is probably Mars. Mars first enters Aquarius, your tenth house of fame, on May 15, lighting up your house of reputation, rewards, and achievements. This was a big deal, and although Mars later slowed down, it eventually began to nap on June 26, and only recently woke up, resuming direct motion on August 27.

How do I know Mars is sleepy? I can see the path of Mars on a chart of planetary paths called Ephemeris, which is published by NASA and many other companies. Like humans, every planet is a little fuzzy when it wakes up and needs a good cup of coffee and breakfast to start acting like itself. Mathematically speaking, astrologers know that Mars won't be fully in power until October 8, but that doesn't mean he won't be useful to you before October 8 - he will be!

On the 12th of last month, Mars moved out of Aquarius and slipped back into Capricorn. He will return to Aquarius on September 10th and return to the tenth house in your horoscope, which represents honors, awards, and achievements. This is good news in many ways. First, if you haven't taken any vacation this year, take one between September 1st and 10th.
