You've been working hard and trusting that things will turn around, and eventually you'll have your lucky moment, and finally, your ship has arrived, dear Sagittarius. As they do before all major astrological events, the planets are gathering in your sector of behind-the-scenes, encouraging you to pause on your merry-go-round and think seriously about what you hope to accomplish in this dazzling year ahead.

You might say that everyone has a goal that they most want to achieve. I have discovered that this is not always the case. I have met people from all over the world, and when I asked them what they hoped would happen in their special year, some of them started looking up at the sky with confused eyes and said that this question was difficult to answer. The more you can visualize the details of future success, the more likely you are to seize opportunities for success. Imagine you are a movie star and act out the movie in your mind. What kind of story would you imagine for the protagonist of the movie, that is, you?

You can think about it slowly until November 8th. After this day, the cosmic orchestra will begin to play, the audience will be seated, the curtain will open, and you will walk onto the stage and into the spotlight. Starting from November 8, 2018, you will be the most favored by the universe among all the zodiac signs, and this will last for 13 months until December 2, 2019.

Venus will be retrograde from October 5th to November 16th. Venus goes retrograde infrequently, occurring once every 18 months. On the day Venus turns direct, its little brother Mercury, known for its clever little mischief, begins to retrograde from November 16 to December 6. You see, December 6th is the day we finally break free of all the retrogrades, and it is also the day of the New Moon in Sagittarius, opening up a time tunnel for you to your deepest desires. You'll have to do the work that's required of you, but you'll also have important cosmic help.

I know you may be tired of hearing about the planets going retrograde all the time, but when they are retrograde, the planets are sleeping and not supporting us with their full strength. This means delays and changes in direction, making it difficult to make progress.

Venus rules feminine beauty and masculine charm, so while Venus goes retrograde this month beginning October 5, you should be sure not to schedule any experimental skin treatments.

I have two friends who don't know each other and live in different parts of the United States. Both men tried new skin treatments and were left with permanent scars on their faces. They had attended therapy many years ago, and the date of the therapy coincided with the time when Venus was retrograde. Their scars have not faded to this day. One of them had radioactive microneedle treatment. Even though they all told me that I could cover the scars with concealer, they were still visible after removing the makeup.

Don't schedule a facelift, fillers, Botox, cosmetic braces, or, for women, a dramatic new hair color or a completely different haircut in October or November. Yes, Venus will resume direct motion on November 16, but Mercury will go retrograde right after that, so it’s safer to schedule it on December 6 or later. Of course, there is nothing wrong with general beauty treatments. A slight hair trim and other routine small actions are fine, but don't do anything that drastically changes your appearance.
