Mars initially enters your sign on December 13 and will remain here until January 24.

There is definitely some other stuff going on in the sky, so your patience will be asked. Venus and Mercury will both go retrograde in January. These two planets have orbits closest to Earth, and Mercury, Venus, and Mars are the ones we feel their retrograde motion most obviously. (Thankfully, Mars won’t go retrograde until the fourth quarter of 2022.) Venus goes retrograde on December 19 and goes direct on January 29.

Venus is the natural ruler of your work and daily life sector, so it is easy for sudden delays to occur in this area. If you have long hair, it might not be a good idea to cut it short, or if you want to drastically change your hair color. You can trim it and make slight adjustments, but don't make any major changes.

If you're planning a party, postpone it, including charity dinners, as fundraising may be lower than expected. If you're single and hoping to find new love, this is not a good month to go on that crucial first date. Venus rules love and romance, but if you start a new relationship when Venus is retrograde, the love between you may remain at a low level. If your best friend wants to introduce you to someone new, wait and see, you will be glad you waited. Venus only goes retrograde every 18 months, so once you reach January 29th, everything will be free and clear again.

Venus's little brother Mercury will follow suit, and its retrograde motion will overlap with Venus. Mercury will be in poor condition from January 14th to February 3rd.

Mercury is retrograde in electronic sign Aquarius, so you may encounter problems with your computer. Always make sure your anti-virus software is up to date. Mercury is in your communication sector, so when you reply to a group email, you must be extra careful to make sure you are replying to only the right people before you hit send. Also, don’t leave sensitive documents in the copier, because if they are left behind, the whole department will know about it in an instant. Also check your spelling before submitting your document; don't skip this step.

Of course, Mercury retrograde is not the time to buy electronic products (including cars), because you may later feel that you bought the wrong model or there are other situations that make you dislike it.
