What kind of incense is used to worship the God of Wealth?

Worshiping the God of Wealth carries people's hopes for a peaceful and prosperous life and good luck. When worshiping the God of Wealth, we must pay attention to the standard gestures. 1. Stand, gently put your palms together, put your fingers together, bend your elbows naturally, and place them in front of your chest at about 45 degrees. When you put your palms together, lower your eyes and gaze at the fingertips of your palms. This will help you concentrate your mind and eliminate wandering thoughts. Stand in front of the cushion with your feet in an "eight" position, with your heels about two inches apart and your toes about eight inches apart.

2. Divide your right palm downward and press it on the center of the cushion. Keep your left palm still, spread your knees apart, and kneel on the cushion.

3. Press your left palm on the left side of the cushion.

4. Move the right palm from the center to the right side in front of the cushion, with the two palms about six inches apart. Place your head on the cushion between your palms.

5. Turn your palms outwards (palms facing upward, intending to support the Buddha’s feet with both hands, and touch the Buddha’s feet with your head).

6. Bend the fingers of both hands and turn them over, still pressing them on the original position of the cushion. The head lifts off the cushion and stands up. Move your right palm to the center of the cushion.

7. Remove your left palm from the cushion and place it in front of your chest as if you are joining your palms together. Use your right palm to prop up your body (both knees leave the cushion at the same time), and place your left palm in front of your chest. This is one bow.

What kind of incense do you use to worship the God of Wealth?

Use good incense when worshipping the God of Wealth. The "Prajnaparamita Samantabhadra" talks about incense offerings, which are called: "There are various kinds of incense in heaven: scented oil, burning incense, and powdered incense";

(1) Applying incense: It is a mixture of spices and water. When the God of Wealth was alive, believers would apply incense on his body and feet to show their respect and worship for him.

(2) Burning incense: These are the stick incense and coil incense we burn to worship the God of Wealth.

(3) Powdered incense: This is sandalwood powder, which is used as the initiator for burning sandalwood.

According to the three thousand rituals taught by the God of Wealth, when we burn incense and worship the God of Wealth, we should pay special attention to a few things: first remove the remaining incense in the incense burner, and then light the incense and insert it respectfully. To show your sincerity and respect to the God of Wealth and Bodhisattva, you should burn incense yourself and not let others burn incense for you, otherwise there will be no merit. Giving incense to others so that they can also worship the God of Wealth is also a great merit.
