What should I do if I accidentally break the incense while burning it? What are the specific steps for burning incense? What should I do if I accidentally break the incense while burning it? Just order one more; If the incense burns out while you are burning it, there is no need to panic. Just be sincere when you worship Buddha and burn incense. If the incense stick runs out, light another one to make the situation clear to the Buddha. It is a natural phenomenon that the incense stick breaks when burning. Nowadays, many incense sticks have defects and are prone to breaking when burning. This is normal. Detailed steps for burning incense 1. You don’t have to stand in the middle when worshiping Buddha, you just need to worship devoutly. You should know that the Buddha possesses the three wisdoms, six supernatural powers, ten powers, four fearlessnesses, and eighteen unique dharmas. As long as sentient beings have a thought, the Buddha knows it all. Therefore, as long as you are sincere and respectful, any position is a good place. 2. No matter how many Buddhas are enshrined in the temple, it is usually sufficient to bow three times when entering the temple. As for personal practice, it is up to the individual's wishes. If many people have gathered in the temple, just stand with the crowd, put your hands together and greet them. You are not allowed to bow individually, so as not to affect the order of the crowd and it is not in accordance with dignity. 3. The meaning of three prostrations to Buddha: Hand gesture: raise both hands flat in front of chest, with five fingers together and facing upwards. (1) Subdue arrogance (2) Learn to emulate the virtuous (3) Repent and eliminate karma: As the saying goes, "One bow to the Buddha can eliminate sins as numerous as the sands of the Ganges." To eliminate sins, one must first cultivate a dignified demeanor. Once one has both inner and outer dignified demeanor, one will be able to receive the protection and blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. (4) The first prostration is: (confessing the true meaning) I, the disciple, repent and am willing to repent together with all sentient beings. I confess and repent all the evil deeds I have committed in the past, which are all caused by the endless greed, hatred and ignorance, and are born from my body, words and thoughts. I now repent of them all. True repentance of sins arises from the heart. Repent with the heart. When the heart is extinguished, the sins are also false. When the mind is false and the sins are extinguished, both are empty. This is called true repentance. Second bow: I, the disciple who practices the Tao, vow to eliminate the three obstacles and all worries together with all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm, to gain true wisdom. I wish that all sins and obstacles will be eliminated, and that we will always practice the Bodhisattva Path in all our lives. The third bow: Together with Samantabhadra, we dedicate this merit to disciple ○○, wishing to be born in the Pure Land together with all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm and to realize the true reality together. I dedicate all the boundless merits of this wonderful practice of Samantabhadra to all sentient beings who are suffering in distress, so that they can quickly reach the Buddha land of Infinite Light.
