What is the saying about being burned when offering incense?

1. Karma is blocking your way and cannot be resolved by burning incense alone. It is recommended that you find a trustworthy master as soon as possible to check and resolve it in detail. It is not advisable to procrastinate, but it is time to face the solution and make a choice.
2. Being possessed by evil spirits. The people who burn incense are possessed by dirty things, and the energy of these evil spirits is very strong, and they can enter and leave the temple hall freely.
3. Neglect to manage some omissions. After entering the temple, people who burn incense may forget to do something, or make a wish but not fulfill it, or take things they shouldn't take and do things they shouldn't do. If a person who burns incense is scalded and remembers it, he should make amends as soon as possible. If he really cannot do it, he can just repent on the spot.

1. Before offering incense, you must first wash your hands, rinse your mouth, straighten your posture, and calm your body and mind;
2. Put your palms together respectfully in front of the Buddha, Bodhisattva, or other statues you are worshipping;
3. Use both hands to pinch the incense, light it, and hold it in front of your chest;
4. Recite the "Vajra Incense Bodhisattva Mantra"
5. Invite the Buddha, Bodhisattva or the deity;
6. Recite the incense offering verse: "May this cloud of incense and flowers fill the ten directions, offering to all Buddhas, honoring the Dharma and all sages, enjoying and performing Buddhist rituals in the boundless Buddha lands, and universally permeating all living beings, so that they may all attain Bodhi together."
7. Visualize the image being offered, joyfully accepting the offering, and all sentient beings abiding in ultimate happiness. Then joyfully offer incense and place it in the incense burner.
8. Worship the Buddha statue respectfully;
9. Dedicate, pray, and that’s it.
