December 21, 2012 3:14:35 PM Is the Mayan prophecy true?

I just checked the perpetual calendar, and December 21, 2012 is the Winter Solstice, which is a key solar term for the transformation of yin and yang. Moreover, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon. The series of earth-shaking events that took place in the Year of the Dragon in 1976 are still strange enough to think about. So, the Mayan theory about the movement of the sun should still make some sense, but it is hard to say whether it is that serious.
