In Tarot divination, every time you analyze and calculate a problem, you have to go through the process of shuffling and cutting the cards again. This cannot be omitted. Let’s first talk about some small issues when fortune-telling. On some foreign websites, Tarot divination is described as a very mysterious process, so a lot of props need to be prepared, such as fire, knives, holy grails, etc. It is also said that there must be a special divination tablecloth, a box for cards, etc.

I don't think any of these are absolutely necessary, but I do prepare a small square towel and put it on the table when I shuffle the cards. This is mainly because the surface of my table is too smooth, and the cards always spin when I shuffle them, making them uneven. Putting a small towel on the table increases the friction without damaging or dirtying my cards (because I often carry the cards with me and tell fortunes for my friends). For friends like me who often take the cards to various places, I suggest you find a small towel you like. Firstly, it can protect your cards. Secondly, you can look at the familiar background every time you do divination, which will make it less distracted and easier to concentrate.

Shuffle:

1. Place the cards face up on the table, and shuffle them in the same direction with both hands, making circles to evenly shuffle the cards. The shuffle direction should be the same as the one you used when you first opened the cards.

2. Gently gather the cards together and place them horizontally in front of you. If any cards are still standing upright, put them down in the same direction as you shuffled them. This way your cards are laid out in a neat stack in front of you. The shuffle is over.
