Susan Miller's Horoscope for January 2016 Capricorn

You will need to have a greater sense of control over events than usual, which is an exciting prospect. You have to adjust yourself to try to adapt to various situations, and perhaps you have also doubted why the times have started to turn in your favor. And this birthday month will be very kind to you. Next, let’s take a look at Susan Miller’s Capricorn horoscope for January 2016!

Susan Miller's Horoscope for January 2016 Capricorn

This is your birthday month, and there are four planets in Capricorn to help you realize a project you have been looking forward to. You will notice the energy starting to surge as the new moon appears in Capricorn, 19 degrees, on January 9, and it will be in conjunction with the Sun, Pluto, and Mercury. The best part about this new moon - which will open up a whole new path - is that it receives golden rays from Jupiter, the planet of gifts and good fortune. This is great, because Jupiter is now in Virgo and is perfectly positioned to help you start taking action and manifest your deepest dreams.

Maybe you're planning a long trip to celebrate your birthday, to a new country or island. You may also choose to go to college to become an undergraduate or graduate student in the next academic quarter and realize your dream. If you're a graduate, you may be taking classes in your major or field of study—or perhaps you're asked to teach a class to others. If this is not on your schedule, you may be submitting a work for publication, or starting important work on an exhibition or documentary that will be released soon.

I recall that I was suddenly invited to write a column when I had not yet written for any publication. My friend Linda is the editor-in-chief of a little new magazine called Beauty. She asked me to write a fortune column, but I replied that I didn't know how to start. But Linda wouldn't accept being rejected. She said, "Susan, you have to help me. The man who writes this column for my magazine is making up complete bullshit!" I thought, oh no, I have to take over his fortune? Is this possible? I simply dare not think about it. But Linda knew how to motivate me.

I didn't want to disappoint my friend, so I accepted the opportunity and spent a week writing a one-page column, all the while feeling completely panicked. I have a business degree, no literary hypocrisy, but I know astrology. Linda and I had just started working together at that time - I was only 23 - so she knew that my baby mom had taught me astrology. When Linda called, I was conflicted because I had always wanted to keep my astrology skills a secret. Astrology was not yet fully accepted by the public at that time, and I did not consider myself a pioneer. I just want to do something that involves interacting with other people. However, once I started writing, I smiled because I realized that dealing with others was not something that had to happen.

I spent a whole week writing the manuscript and submitted it to Linda's editor-in-chief's office. She read the manuscript and asked me to wait for a while because she had to show my work to the publisher. She asked me where I had been since we parted. I responded, "Make the changes you request at home! I want to get it done!" Linda left for 5 minutes, and when she came back the manuscript was gone. I asked, "Is the publisher not here?" She nodded and said yes. "Go home, Susan, and write your horoscope for the next month. We are delighted with your piece; it is a little over the required word count, but it is perfect. We have faxed it to the printers uncut. Go on."

I was shocked. The magazine was small and new, but I found myself enjoying it. The artist reduced the font size so that all my text could fit in, and he didn't add any illustrations or impose any restrictions on me. I was still working as an agent for commercial photographers, I had a day job that allowed me to support my two children (my husband was always ineffective) - and this new job, which didn't pay much, was something I loved. I didn’t realize at the time that my life had just taken a dramatic turn in a new direction. This fact did not become clear until several years later.

I tell you this because if you’re like me and want to write something one day but are too scared to take the first step and ask an editor for help, just do it. This rule applies to any type of work, not just publishing. If you are passionate about any project, chances are you will excel at it and people will be attracted to you. Miracles happen every day. As I wrote recently on Twitter, I didn’t choose astrology, astrology chose me. Go discover your destiny, dear Capricorn.

Now, back to your January outlook. If you are in the middle of a legal dispute or have contacted your attorney about registering a patent or trademark, this year is the time. Be careful, however, because Mercury will be retrograde, so it is best to wait until February to file cases, register trademarks and patents. January 13 will bring you very happy news regarding legal court matters. Because at that time Jupiter, the planet of good luck in Virgo, will form an ideal angle with the Sun in Capricorn. Wait and see what happens on January 13th. Money will come to you in abundance.

The new moon of January 9 will be in difficult angles to both Uranus and Pluto, suggesting you may suddenly hear news about your family or real estate that you will have to deal with. As a Capricorn, there are so many reasons for you to relocate or make changes to your existing residence. You may be tired of what's happening at home, as it often comes so unexpectedly. You have learned how to be flexible, which is one of your endearing qualities. I regret to have to remind you once again that this month you will encounter problems related to your family or parents (or people you consider as parents). Fortunately, your down-to-earth personality and admirable Capricorn sense of humor will keep you calm. (Did you know that Capricorn is the zodiac sign that produces the most cartoonists?)

One small problem this month is that Mercury, the planet of communication, perception, judgment, compromise, contracts, and trade, will be retrograde in Capricorn from January 5 to 25. After heavy demands on your job since November 12, perhaps the slower pace brought on by Mercury will feel a bit off. Plans will be postponed or canceled, you may have to rework a project, and you may become easily distracted and forgetful. That’s why you should be very careful with the things you carry with you every day, like your glasses, wallet, smartphone, or other items that can be easily misplaced or lost. Being cautious can help you avoid those losses.

As mentioned above, you have been focusing a lot of energy on your career recently, and due to the trouble caused by the new moon in Libra on October 12 a few months ago, your career progress requires a lot of enthusiasm from you. Today, the universe decides to give you a break and more time to play. On January 3, Mars will enter your eleventh house of friendship, activity, crowds, and pleasure, and will stay there until March 5. Wow, that's awesome!

The days this month when you might travel purely for pleasure are January 16-17, including Monday, January 18. Mars will be in beautiful angle to Neptune at that time, so you might go to a sunny, warm beach or fly to a snowy mountain to ski.

Money will be your focus for four days around January 23rd. This article is reprinted from the Astrology Network. You may receive a commission check, insurance payment, technology usage fee or licensing fee. It could also be an infusion of venture capital, or a bank approving your application for a loan, mortgage, or business line of credit. The same can include receiving a letter about generous financial aid, student loans, or even scholarships to get you to college. Money will roll in, but it will also be spent, but it will appear that you are getting more than you need to pay out. This is good news after all.

Romantically, things get more interesting when Venus moves into Capricorn between January 23 and February 16. Your charm is at its peak during this time, and with Mars in Scorpio assisting you - a sign that fits your earthy Capricorn personality quite well - your social life is clearly going to flourish! This month is not like last month, when you just watched others enjoy their holidays because you had too many work matters to deal with to fully relax. But this month there will be a lighter, freer feeling, allowing you to enjoy life more.
