In many ways, August is a bridge from the past to the future. The eclipses are coming, this time firmly in Leo and Aquarius, so after enjoying some fun times in July, you should be prepared to slow down and focus on work in August. Eclipses disrupt the status quo, tamper with time plans and sequences, and press the reset button. Eclipses are the universe's most powerful and dramatic tool for creating mutation and progress.

You will feel an invisible big hand pushing you forward from behind. If you feel that now is not a good time to accept more or make changes, the universe will sneer and push you harder - anyway, this is what you need to do, and the universe doesn't care whether it is a good time or not. The planets in orbit have their own reliable and accurate schedules - just like Swiss trains are punctual.

You may also feel pressure from Saturn in your tenth house, which rules honors, rewards, and achievement. From 12/24/2014 till now, Saturn has been playing the role of a harsh taskmaster—teaching us the truth about life and granting us a cosmic MBA. The good news is that Saturn will pack up and leave on December 20, 2017. Saturn will be gone for several decades and will not return to the tenth house until 2044. Before he leaves, Saturn has some new ways of helping you bring out the best in you, and those gifts will emerge during the Solar Eclipse on August 21 and in the weeks that follow.

Saturn has been retrograde since April 5, but will resume direct motion on August 24. From there, you’ll find that career progression is much more rapid. You've been busy moving towards victory, but that big reward has just been out of reach, but now everything is about to change - the rate at which you achieve great feats will be very satisfying - and then you'll know!

The first lunar eclipse of the month will occur on August 7 in Aquarius, 15 degrees, and will appear as a full moon lunar eclipse. It will illuminate your house of secrets/confidential matters, so if someone has been keeping a secret from you, now may be the time to reveal it. The same goes if you have a little secret—keeping it secret until after the eclipse is nearly impossible—eclipses just love to shine a light on the truth. When there are eclipses, we tend to blurt out what we want to say.

The place where this full moon lunar eclipse will occur—the twelfth house—is the birth house in Pisces' chart. This is where creativity comes in when you are alone. If you take time to be alone, close the door and eliminate outside distractions, you will achieve amazing results. Your creative ideas will emerge from your subconscious mind and dreams, or appear to you inadvertently during the day - even when you are not thinking about your creative project, or when you accidentally hear a song or poem.

Pisces never know where their breakthrough ideas come from. When it comes, it is like a diamond with many facets, reflecting all the light and blinding the eyes. Pisces are so friendly and sociable that people around you sometimes forget that you also like to be alone. When you step away from the chaos and complexity of the world, you can get the peace you need and enough time to think and experiment with your creative ideas.

The twelfth house is also the house of confinement - hospitals, sanatoriums, prisons, therapy centers, etc. (I've been in and out of hospitals my whole life, since day one, because I had a birth defect. I found it interesting that hospitals and prisons are in the same house. People who have been hospitalized have fantasized about running out the door, like escaping from prison, but it's basically impossible!) Seriously, if you want to schedule surgery now, it is possible. Something related to your health may come up, and you will want to deal with it. But you also need to listen to other people's opinions, and this month with Mercury retrograde (which I'll get to in a moment) is the perfect time to continue doing your research.
