Why is Ophiuchus cursed? What is the reason why Ophiuchus is excluded?

Since we all know that the thirteenth constellation Ophiuchus has always existed, why is it rarely talked about in daily constellations? Why is Ophiuchus cursed? Why was Ophiuchus excluded? Why does Ophiuchus no longer exist?

Why is Ophiuchus cursed?

Although Ophiuchus was discovered very early, the Western astrology community has never discussed Ophiuchus in astrology. Nowadays it is mentioned as the thirteenth constellation. In fact, there are more than twelve and thirteen constellations passing through the ecliptic, but every time it exceeds twelve, it will not be widely recognized. Maybe it’s because they think the number thirteen is unlucky.

The twelve constellations already existed in ancient Babylon, which was the first country where slavery appeared. In the Bible, ancient Babylon was not a good place. Revelation 18:2

"He cried out with a loud voice, 'Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen! It has become a dwelling of devils, a haunt of every foul spirit and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.'"
They decided on the twelve zodiac signs at that time, and the zodiac signs that appeared afterwards were simply ignored by Westerners, who have been trying every means to avoid contact with the number 13.

Taboos from the thirteenth constellation

In the Netherlands, it is difficult to find building number 13 and house number 13, so they use other symbols instead, such as "12A". In the British restaurants, you won't find 13 rows of 13 seats. The French are smarter. They simply placed a pedestrian walkway between rows 12 and 14, thus perfectly avoiding row 13. Moreover, they are superstitious about traveling on the 13th, and even more superstitious about 13 people dining at the same table, and they cannot have 13 dishes on the table at once. If the 13th day of a month coincides with a Friday, it is extremely unlucky, and this is the so-called "Black Friday".
Most Westerners believe in Christianity. Jesus, the founder of Christianity, was betrayed and killed by his thirteenth disciple. There is also a legend in the West that on the 13th of every month, 12 witches hold a carnival, and the 13th devil will appear at the climax of the party and bring disaster to people.

The Creepy Legend of Ophiuchus

In addition, the legend about Ophiuchus is also a bit creepy. The origin of Ophiuchus is the god of medicine. Asclepius holds a giant snake in both hands. When his mother, Coronis, one of Apollo's mistresses, was killed by a golden bird, he tried to resurrect her with a snake. After that, Asclepius was called the Snake Husband. But this was known to Hades, the god of hell, who thought that Asclepius had violated the laws of heaven, and so he struck Asclepius to death with thunder.
Looking at the thirteenth constellation and the legend of Ophiuchus, it is not difficult to understand why Ophiuchus was excluded. Ophiuchus is always selectively ignored by Westerners.
