Two themes will be present this month: a desire to travel far, which is entirely possible and something you will do, along with a focus on career and money. Sounds like a total conflict, doesn't it? Welcome to June, a month full of high contrasts and unexpected twists and turns, but in the end, you’ll be bathed in sunshine and smiling. This will undoubtedly be a roller coaster ride for everyone, so don't feel alone.

This month kicks off with a bang on June 3, with extraordinary signals between Jupiter (the giver of gifts and luck) and the powerful Sun in your eighth house of other people’s money. It is possible that you will receive a check in some way, whether in the form of a bonus, commission, royalties, patent fees, insurance claim, inheritance, tax refund, or perhaps a bank loan, mortgage, student loan, or scholarship. Either way, money is coming your way, and it looks like a lot of it.

This has to be good news because it seems like you have a lot of bills to pay. The full moon on June 9th occurs in your second house of income, and it looks like there will be a certain cash flow shortage. Saturn will be conjunct this full moon, suggesting you write all the checks you can think of to avoid debt trouble. It's possible that the money you're counting on, that's owed to you, won't come quickly for a variety of reasons - your ex is short of cash and can't pay alimony; or you're out of town on payday. Or maybe a woman in your life—a relative or close friend—needs your help with money, and you may be the only one who can help her. Another possibility involves a trip you take this month (or after that), in which you may buy something while on the trip and not realize the high price until you receive the bill, and may experience a shortage of money.

If all of this happens there will be enough money stuff going on this month. In just a few days, there will be money news, which is unlikely to be good. On June 14-15, Saturn will be in direct opposition to the Sun, at a 180-degree angle, and once again you will feel your money is running out. I think you should look into cutting costs or looking into funding to recover your losses. If your business depends on venture capital, start talking to investors about your business plan in the first week, not after you run out of money.

If you start your own business, apply for a series of loans in the first week of June, as there are such sweet financial aspects. Check to see if the bank has approved the loan so that you have money to pay the relevant personnel even if you don't get paid back. A client may not be able to exchange money for several months due to bankruptcy. If you borrow money from credit cards to keep it going, it's too expensive. It looks like you need a financial contingency plan. If all else fails, call Mom or Dad.

In the book I've heard all kinds of reasons why customers don't pay. "The accounting department is being painted and all the computers and desks are being moved. It'll take about three weeks to get it done" (Really? They won't be able to pay during that time?) We used to have a psycho assistant who would throw out all the bills every month and we finally had to fire her. You know, you're going to fire her eventually? You are as crazy as she is. This is the most creative excuse I have ever heard. Another one: "Sent us a bill? What bill? Maybe it got lost in the mailbox" (No, I sent it to you, you idiot. I have your signature for receipt)

There are other excuses: “Our only accountant is very ill – can you give me the name of the doctor? She’s having a zit” (what?) “The accountant is on vacation for a month” Why are people still working if no one is paying them – how are you still working? The excuse that was popular in the 1990s, "The console exploded," now seems like a dubious excuse. We had thieves steal all our money and our computer data was locked. We can't pay a $500 ransom. Very strange, haven't heard of it on the news. There is another equally unbelievable thing: the accountant resigned and could not pay the bills until the new person took over. I don't know how to operate a computer to sign a check. Let me say, don't you have a pen?
